What To Do Nearby

There is always something to do on Tamborine Mountain, from the highs of exploring the rainforest canopies at “Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk”, watching the Skydivers take off from the edge of the Mountain, or literally flying through the air yourself on Australia’s largest, highest and fastest Zip Line Tour at Thunderbird Park; to the lows of going underground at the Glow Worm Caves; and everything in between.  We have listed just a few below for you:

Thunderbird Park: As mentioned above, this can be a very funfilled day out for everyone, activities include the Treetop Challenge at 3 levels: The Canyon Flyer Zip Line Tour; The Adventure Park; and the section for junior adventures.  There is also Mini Golf, Thunder Egg Fossicking, Laser Skirmish just to name a few.

Glow Worms: Glow Worms require very specific environmental conditions and the cave has been fitted with equipment to maintain these conditions throughout the year, thereby providing the perfect environment for a healthy Glow Worm colony.

Gallery Walk: The famous “Gallery Walk“ is home to some amazing restaurants, you will also come across the Tamborine Mountain Winery, art & craft shops, gift shops, fashion boutiques,  great fudge, lollies and ice creams.  A must visit is the German Cuckoo Clock Shop.

Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries: Witches Falls Winery, Hamptons Estate, Masons Winery, Cedar Creek Estate, Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Fortitude Brewing Co., are all some of our favorites (be sure to check out the Witches Chase Cheese factory while you are at the Brewery).  We are happy to provide more information if required.

Bush WalksTamborine Mountain is home to several beautiful rainforest bush walks – one of which is part of Queenslands first National Park. All have ample parking and are well maintained. The walks range from between 1k to 3km with varying levels of difficulty (steps etc). We are very happy to provide more detailed information on these walks on request.

Relax & Unwind:  Our local Day Spa offers you endless services to rejuvenate you body and mind. Treatments include a range of massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.  Packages can also be arranged to cater for couples or groups (eg. Hens Party).
